Saturday morning, I zipped over to spend the morning with my friend, Angela, who got married that afternoon!
(Left to right: Liz, Natasha, Lindsey, Michelle, the bride - Angie, Heather, Kristin and myself.
We had a fabulous morning and drank several bottles of Verdi while we ate breakfast. It was just the way we wanted to send off our girl into marital bliss. She had a private ceremony and reception, with just family, but I hear it was a beautiful day. I'm so happy for her and her hubby. Congrats Angie! We love you!
She drove two hours from Maryland to visit with me! She's seriously the best. We chatted for most of the day and had a late lunch with my sister and other BFF, Kristin, and rounded off the day with some one-on-one time gossiping about all of you. (Kidding, of course.) (Or am I?) ;)
I'm so glad she came and got to meet Noah and my pup, Bodie! Hopefully I didn't scare her away and she'll want to come visit again. This weekend just made me even more excited to go visit her in September when we run the Color Run together. It's the happiest 5k on the planet, haven't you heard? We're sure to have a blast, especially if there are margaritas involved the night before!
Not only did we have a fabtantastical day together, she was sweet enough to bring me some goodies from Trader Joe's and Dunkin Donuts. We don't have either of them where I live so she was kind enough to bring me some of her favorite items, including the famous Cookie Butter I've heard so much about.
But to be honest with you? My current obsession is with this delectable item...
Fleur de Sel Caramel Sauce? You will die and go to heaven. I'm not kidding when I say I ate it with a spoon. Then husband brought me home some ice cream so I ate it on that too. And then with pretzels. And I might have plans for some brownies. ZOMG. Deliciousness.
What are your favorite Trader Joe's items? Do anything fun this weekend?!
