Friday night, after work, Kevin and I loaded up the baby and headed toward Pennsylvania to celebrate my cousin's baby's first birthday and for our family reunion. Saturday was the birthday party and it was blazing hot outside so what is one to do on a scorching summer day? Lounge in the pool of course!

After everyone had spent most of the afternoon in the water, of course it was time for cake and you know what that means at a first birthday party - SMASH CAKE!
The birthday boy had an awesome time eating his cake although he didn't get much of it in his mouth, he even sat on it at one point! It was an amazing afternoon and I can't believe my cousin, Nicole, has been a mom for a year. This time last year -- none of us had babies!
Sunday afternoon, we drove over to my aunt's house for our annual family reunion. It was so much fun catching up with relatives we don't see that often and they got a chance to see all five of the new babies at one time. (Five of us cousins had five babies within a year, if you're keeping up!) Most of our family hadn't met Noah so it was great to be able to introduce him!

I realize this post was super baby-filled but I can't help it! We're surrounded by them. It's so much fun when we can all get together. I'm excited for the upcoming year and more first birthdays, more family gatherings and of course, more babies! Our cousin Lauren is expecting this Fall so I'm hoping we gave her some good practice this weekend. ;)

5 babies in a year, that's crazy! Only one of my 30 cousins is even MARRIED!!!!! Looks like everyone had a blast!

That's crazy how big your family is first off :) and secondly, that you all had kids so close together! I have 1 first cousin on my dad's side of the family.
