Well, today's my due date. It's hard to believe that 40 weeks - nearly 10 months - have passed and the time has come for the little bean to come into the world. I'm honestly shocked that baby T hasn't made an early appearance. Several weeks ago, the ultrasound had him measuring at a healthy 6 lbs 15 oz., making it seem like he could show up any day.
Unfortunately, that is not the case. My son is stubborn, much like his momma, and has decided it's too warm in there to come out.
Why yes, that would be the same exact outfit I was wearing last time I updated you.
I'm running out of clothes that fit the bump and let's face it, I'm no fashionista. My work OOTD is usually those same pants and shoes until I get home and put on Kevin's sweats.
How far along? 40 weeks today!
Total weight gain/loss: Still a healthy amount.
Maternity clothes? Yes, and even those are growing tighter by the day.
Stretch Marks? Yes. They look red and painful but I've dubbed them my love marks because if this baby ever comes out, he'll be worth every one.
Best moment this week? I'm drawing a blank on a best moment of the week so I'm just going to sum it up and say that I'm lucky enough to have had a healthy pregnancy and, although I can't wait for it to be over, it's not been that bad. Besides my nausea the first trimester, the baby and I have trugged along just fine and we finally made it to the end! I can't wait to hold him in my arms and kiss his face.
Movement? Always after I eat and sometimes just for fun, he likes to play on my ribs like they're monkey bars.
Food Cravings? Not so much anymore. There are foods that I prefer but nothing I really won't eat anymore. Small meals are the key at this point, there's not much room left in that belly for anything!
What I miss: Oh, you know, being normal in general. We've gone over this.
What I am looking forward to: The birth of my son! If he doesn't come on his own, we have an induction date of February 2th - LEAP YEAR BABY! (Fingers crossed he doesn't wait til then though)
Nausea/Vomiting?: I've started getting nauseous every evening before bed. I'm not sure if it's because I'm eating too much for supper or what but I've gone to bed sick for the past three nights.
Labor signs? Same as last week: Lots of Braxton Hicks lately and definite pressure on my groin but that's about it.
Gender? Baby boy!
Belly Button in or out? Very very flat.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. :(
Sleep? This one is out the window. I'm tossing and turning all night and I feel awful for my husband. He barely gets 5 hours of sleep on a good night, let alone when I'm flopping like a fish next to him.
Weekly Wisdom: Again, same as last week... trying not to roll my eyes at the one millionth person who asks me "you haven't had that baby yet?" -- nope, but let me consult my crystal ball, it should give us the day! I love my friends, family and coworkers but every single person has a comment and I'm so tired I just can't take it anymore. Just tell me to hang in there and let's call it a day. Okay?

So if baby boy is born on 2/29, will you celebrate his birthday on the 28th or on the 1st (in non-leap-years)? Will you throw an extra big party on his "real" birthdays every 4 years? I've always wondered how people handle that!
A leap year baby would be really cool! I hope you don't have to wait that long, though. :) Rory was 3 days late and I thought she would never come. But she did, in her own time! Hang in there, friend. You'll make it!! Like you said, once he's finally here...the rest of the stuff doesn't even matter. :)
P.S. I swear I induced Rory's labor by eating greasy fries and hot wings. I mean, it's worth a shot. ;)
you look great! Come on baby boy, the world is ready! Good luck with everything!!!
Lvoe you !
awe, you're such a cute pregnant momma to be! I hope he comes soon! :)
Oh I hope he comes before they have to induce! My b-day is the 28th of Feb, and even though I wasn't even BORN in a leap year, I get those questions all the time. "OH you were almost a leap year baby!!!" NO "So you're really 5 years old?" NO "Oh, do you celebrate on the 28th or the 1st?" UM, the 28th because that's my ACTUAL birthday! I've even had people accuse me of lying about my b-day being on the 28th, but it's actually on the 29th. This is absolutely impossible unless I'm also lying about the YEAR I was born! Seriously, for your baby boy's sanity (and probably yours!), I hope he comes before!
Aww, you are looking so great! Crossing my fingers he comes soon, can't wait to see how cute he'll be!
You are so ready to have this baby. And I can't wait to see pics of him and hear about it. Come on baby boy, dot you wanna come
out and play? (in my most cooing and coaxing voice)
Craziness that you are already 40 weeks! When do you start your mat leave?
Oh I love your baby belly! Hope he decides to make his debut soon!
hang in there! now we can call it a day :)
awwww you look amazing for 40 weeks! Hopefully Baby T comes soon!! I can't believe you might be induced on the 29th! It would be really cool but at the same time it'd be weird... when would you celebrate his birthday? March 1st?
Here's hoping he makes his début before then!!
You look great! Come on baby boy! We want to see you and learn you name! :)
Hang in there, girlfriend :) You're almost at the finish line! You look awesome, btw!
Hang in there, girl. He can't stay there forever, and you're closer to meeting him right now than you ever have been!
I feel for you. I also had constant Braxton Hicks toward the end and couldn't sleep past 3:00 a.m. each night. I would just get up and bounce on my exercise ball in hopes that he'd come on down.
You're doing great!
Sending you four SO much love! Oh little Bodie is about to get a baby brother! (Is it bad that I thought of him first? I must have my priorities in a wonky order today...)
Eeeep! Happy due date! I can't wait to see the Twitter or Facebook or blog notification that you'd had the baby. If you happen to think about me, shoot your Dragon a text, mmkay?!
yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm so excited!!!!! you are almost there and you look great! :) i don't even know how i am going to handle all the comments from people like "have you had that baby yet?" i am already annoyed at the people that continually ask how much weight i'm gaining or it looks like i should be this far along etc. i might hurt someone!
Happy due date and congrats on a healthy term pregnancy! You look so good! I can't wait to hear he made his debut!
Hang in there! Love you! Thinking of you, your hubs, and baby boy allllllll the time.
I hope that he comes soon. You look great! Can't wait to hear when he makes his debut.
Well, you look absolutely fantastic! Congrats on a full 40 week baby! He's sure to be healthy and strong when he gets here! Best of luck in the coming days. Make sure to keep us posted! Can't wait to hear how everything goes and see pictures of your little man.
You look AMAZING and like if I pushed on your side you'd pop like a kernel of corn :o). Don't worry you'll be skinny this fall when I'm as big as a hippo. I hope I don't get the fat lady sweaty upper lip. You KNOW exactly what I mean don't you? You've seen em.
XO, Rach
Oh come on baby boy, lets go already!!

Aw, Jessica... You look great! Hoping your little guy makes his appearance soon! {Come on, Baby T!}
I can't believe it's time! I'm sure it's gone by much slower for you than for me :) I think you look FANTASTIC, especially for 40 weeks! Hang in there - he'll be here soon! Can't wait to "meet" him!
Hang in there! It's coming soon. It's impossible for it not to!
I'm assuming you've had him, and just haven't had a moment to post! Congrats! I can't wait to see pictures and hear the birth story which I hope you share. :) Hope everything went well.
