Fall has...Fallen?

Most of you have already posted your favorite things about Fall but it didn't really hit me that it was actually here until I woke up to 41 degrees on my cars thermostat. I gave in and turned on our little propane heater last night which I'm thankful for because it was just enough to keep the chill out this morning.

Since my birthday is in October, I'm particularly fond of Autumn and although I'm a beach bunny at heart, I tend to dislike anything that makes me hot and sweaty. I'm a huge fan of crisp mornings and sunny 70 degree afternoons. You'll rarely find me walking Bodie on a muggy summer day but if there's a chill in the air, you bet I'll be out with him in a big comfy sweatshirt.

I was really trying to wait until October 1st to get out all my Fall decor but I'm not so sure I can wait. It didn't take much convincing from Jacin that it was definitely time to crack out the pumpkin Yankee candles,

And again, I didn't need to be persuaded too much from KM to give in and order the Hunter boots I'd been drooling over from Gilt Group.

{www.hunter-boot.com}

I've been wanting a pair of Hunter wellies since they were last featured on Gilt about a year ago (I'm guessing) and have been patiently waiting for them to show up again. Yesterday, I wasn't paying any attention to the emails on my phone but noticed a ton of my Twitter pals gabbing about the sale. I immediately jumped online and snatched a pair in brown, which was one of the few colors left, in a size 7. Keep your fingers crossed they actually fit my normally 8 1/2 size foot. I'm told they do run large - but heck, if they don't fit, I'll just sell 'em on ebay and get a pair that actually fits. ;)

What are you looking forward to this Fall!?

I have warm cider candles that I burn 10/1 until 12/1 and I am trying so hard not to use it yet! It's tough not to when the air feels like fall

Mmmm, pumpkin candles! I've really been looking forward to fall too, and today, for the first time since we moved to the east coast, it is actually colder outside than it is inside!

To celebrate, tomorrow I'm making skinny Pumpkin Cupcakes with Pumpkin Spiced Cream Cheese Frosting (http://shorl.com/grykystyfrunufri).

I love the fall colors of fall but I'm a summer girl at heart! :) I don't like being cold! But wearing a sweatshirt is kind of fun too... maybe let's just stick with fall weather and forget cold frigid winters?

I've never had wellies before. Are they comfortable? And do you get a lot of use out of them?

I actually decorated for Fall two weeks ago, even though I live in Southeast Alabama, where it doesn't get cold until freaking January usually....hehehehe :)

I'm most looking forward to burning all my Fall candles and curling up with a book or movie on the couch on a chilly night!

Mmm, fall candles! One of my favorite things.

Also, I love my Hunters! They do run at least 1/2 a size big, so you'll probably be fine!

I've wanted Hunters for so long - but I could never pull the trigger w/ their price tag. But I've bought so many pairs from target that fall apart that I prob. should've just spent the $ on the good boots. Here's to hopin' they fit you!! :)

I was just talking with my coworkers about how we couldn't believe it's fall and how much we are looking forward to Christmas carols, twinkling Christmas lights, and peppermint mochas. I really liked fall in Japan because the leaves turn a beautiful color and all the seasonal foods, but here not so much as California doesn't see much of a change. Re: your last post, your baby bump is so cute! You're looking fantastic!
