Then on Saturday, we spent the afternoon at my parents for a family cook out which I'm glad to say included my uncle, who I haven't seen since my wedding, and my aunt, who I haven't seen since my sisters wedding. It's amazing how time flies! I'm so glad we were able to spend some much needed time with them while they were here.
It's turned out to be a busy weekend so I decided today I'd cuddle up on the couch with Bodie and finish season two of Dexter.

It's my new addiction. Now, if I can convince my brother to loan me season three, I might have to spend the next few weekends glued to my couch too. I swear I really do have a life...
Welp, it's time for dinner, guess I'll microwave a hot dog.
Happy fourth of July everyone! :)

Glad to hear you're feeling better! Being sick is the PITS!
season three is kind of boring but omg I agree....Dexter=love.
LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE Dexter. If I was still catching up that would have been my holiday too (which was Friday here). I'm so jealous you're only experiencing it now, I wish I could forget it all and watch it all over again like it was the first time. LOVE it.
LOL, you're no less American than I am since I haven't left the house (except for a quick trip to Trader Joes) all day either. We celebrated yesterday and I'm too lazy to do anything today. Enjoy your day relaxing on the couch.
Love, love, love Dexter! I can't wait for the new season to come out, as we finished watching all of the seasons really quickly! Have you seen the show Sons of Anarchy? We watched all of the seasons of that recently too...Jax isn't hard on the eyes ;)
I think that is totally American. Haha. And I am sticking with that because that is what I did most of today, too!!
Yup, I did pretty much the same thing. I was outside for about an hour to throw some frisbee in our backyard with Matt and to watch the new fly trap we put up (seriously, it was fascinating). Other than that, I sat inside and watched movies. A few months ago, Matt and I completely devoured all 5 seasons of Dexter in about 3 months. Such a great show!
You know what... sometimes it's ok to be lazy. I was in bed last night by 9:30ish...
I am obsessed with Dexter! it is SO good!
Dexter is so awesome. When we finally live in bunk beds together, we'll be sure to own all the seasons.
bodie seems like a good tv-watching companion.
Glad you're finally feeling better!
I didn't do a cookout or see fireworks or anything!
Bahaha you are too funny!
Glad you're feeling better :)
Sounds like a relaxing 4th to me! Hope you are feeling better!
Dexter is AMAZING!!! :)
i haven't watched dexter yet but after your review, i might have to check it out! :)
Hahaha I just posted my blog post & titled it "the 4th of July makes me want a hot dog real bad" from Legally Blonde hehe.
Sounds relaxing :)
Dexter is an amazing show! So addicting!
Sounds like a lovely, relaxing weekend! Hope you're feeling better soon!
I definitely could NOT watch Dexter within a week of heaving my guts out, you brave soul! Glad you're feeling better. :)
I'm glad you're feeling a little better!
Lol hey, it's all good. At least you knew it was the 4th of July.. that counts for something, right?! Hope you enjoyed your hot dog :)
I hope you're still American because that's what I did! (sit inside all day and watch TV on the 4th of July, I mean)
Okay I really need to give Dexter another shot.... I tried watching a few months ago and couldn't get into it but so many people rave about the show!
at least you got to have a hot dog! i didn't even get that on the 4th! :( hope you are feeling better!!!!
haha! I didn't watch fireworks either :)
dexter is pure love! I can't wait for the next season to start.
love dexter!! sounds like a great 4th to me :-)
I really hope you are still American! I spent my entire 4th of July weekend watching Weeds. So between my show and your show...we have quite an interesting combination. :-D
If it makes you feel better, I totally spent the entire weekend on the couch (pretty much)
And um...Dexter = my favorite!
Everyone keeps telling us how we "HAVE" to watch Dexter. I think it's on Netflix right now, so I might get into it.
