Another long week is behind us friends! There's not to much on my agenda for this weekend and since Kevin will be working tomorrow, I'll probably take advantage of my alone time and get some yard work done. Our flower beds need a little (okay, a lot) of TLC so I'm thinking of doing an overhaul. Right now, all we have are tulips and some annuals that needed to be pulled up last Fall. 

This year, I'd like to do something a little different, maybe plant some Dahlia's? If they're not to hard to care for.

Of course, I'll probably change my mind once I get to the greenhouse because I tend to pick up whatever is prettiest and easiest to keep alive.

On Saturday evening, my sister and I will be cooking dinner for our mom to celebrate Mothers Day. She claims they eat out too often now that they're in the process of moving to North Carolina so we thought she'd enjoy a home cooked meal.

I'm pretty lucky to have an awesome mom like her and even though I complain about her Facebook stalking, she let me dress myself when I was a kid and ride with my dad on his motorcycle so she's still bad ass in my book.
