Happy hump day y'all!! Thank goodness this week is almost over. I want to round house punch daylight savings time in the face. It seems darker than ever when I get up for work which makes it that much more difficult for me to get my lazy arse out of bed.
Well, on Sunday, before the devil turned the clock forward an hour, I decided to make some tasty treats! I adapted this recipe from allrecipes.com and it sounded easy enough, so I whipped up a batch to try.

My only criticism is that I would like them a little more tart. Next time I make this recipe, I'll probably add in more lemon or less sugar. Experimentation at it's best! The result was still pretty delicious. Kevin left me one bar to eat. Isn't that nice of him? Thankful he let me snap a pic first.

Woot woot!!! Winner winner chicken dinner I'm so friggin excited I actually did a happy dance ;-) I'm thankful we were able to raise all of the money needed for Layla's surgery plus more. It's amazing what women on a mission can do when lead by gods grace.
