I got home today and I'm glad to report that Christmas is officially here.
I squealed when I walked in the door and saw this package on the dining room table, I knew just who it was from.
Wow, that's a lot of blurring out .
If you look in the top left hand corner, you'll see that it's from my best blogging buddy, Maria!!!
We exchanged addresses a while ago to send each other Christmas cards but she really went above and beyond...
Inside the box was a sweet little container with a card on top that read:
Seriously? How cute is she!? But that's not the best part.
She has been baking up a storm lately, like the little Betty Crocker that she is, and look what she sent me y'all.
Homemade oatmeal raisin and sugar cookies.
Maria, your man has a great catch, these cookies are amazing. Readers, I am greedy will not share my cookies with you. Go to Maria's blog and become her friend so she can bake you your own.
Yes, I've already eaten half the container and those Peeps will never see the light of day. Glad I went to the gym today because that cancels these out, right? Or shall I just pretend that you forget to tell me they were calorie free, sugar free, carb free and still amazingly delicious?
You are awesome girl, thank you so much!
I, however, waited until the very last minute to order my Christmas cards. Using catprint.com, I saved myself about $5 instead of using WalMart and they'll be here next week. I'm crossing my fingers that I can get them in the mail before Christmas.
I can always recruit Bodie to help address if I need him to.
